Heroes

Eidolon - (Tara Setanta) Tara was like any average 18 year old girl in school. All she cared about was boys and having fun. One day, while coming home from school, she is followed by a strange man who attacked and raped her leaving her in a coma. While hospitalized she is visited by the spirit of one of her great ancestors Scáthach. Scáthach offers to help her get vengence against the man who wronged her and she accepts, thus becoming Eidolon. After tracking down her attacker she discovers that he is only one small part of a greater evil, The Forgery.

Spiritual Possesion (She is possesed by the spirit of Scáthach (pronounced Skaw-Thach) the legendary Scottish warrior woman and martial arts teacher who trained the legendary Ulster hero Cúchulainn in the arts of combat. She also taught a terrifying battle frenzy technique or ríastrad (Riastrathe), in which the user becomes an unrecognizable monster who knows neither friend nor foe. Scáthach was a formidable woman, a teacher of war-craft, and a Druid. She was reputed to be the matron of self-defense and female independence, as well as the guardian of young people who seek to know their full potential. Men came from further afar than Gaul to train with her, and if they passed her rigorous tests they were more feared than any other fighting men.) When under a possessed state she is an Expert in all arts of combat. She also dual wields Celtic Swords of myth:

Fragarach (also The Sword of Air, The Answerer or The Retaliator), forged by the gods. No armor could stop it, and it would grant its wielder command over the powers of wind.
Dyrnwyn - A flaming sword not unlike Excalibur in abilities. One of the Spoils of Annwyn.

Black Out (John Doe "JD") - John is Michail Petrov's greatest creation and greatest regret. He was an artificially created human who was made by Michail in an attempt to unlock the hidden potential of the human brain. All of his childhood, John was being experimented on and tested, but all of Michail's test showed no results. So like a failed science experiment, he was locked away and forgotten in the basement, only being fed by humanitarian Dr. Laura Moormann who works in The Forgery's medical research department. Knowing nothing but darkness and the doctors voice, John learned to accept the darkness and eventually control it. After honing his gift, and with the help of Dr. Moormann, he escapes The Forgery. John then vows he will get his vengence.

Shadow manipulation (Ability to manipulate shadows and to transform shadows into "solid" constructs such as weapons. The size and density of the construct is affected by the shadow of the object from which its been made. If the construct is broken or destroyed, the effects of that are felt by the object from which its been made. Example: A street lamp is used to create a staff. If the staff is then snapped in half, so is the street lamp) and Shadow phasing (Ability to travel through shadows by phasing into them).

Samson (Jantzen "Samson" Davis) - Samson is half human and half alien. His father is an alien of a warrior race who fell in love with his human mother; before he knew of his childs conception, he was forced to leave Earth by his people to prevent a coup. Years later, after his mother commits suicide, Samson is suspicious that the cops are being paid off to cover up something bigger and it was actually a murder. In his search for answers one name seems to continuously pop up, The Forgery. Desperate for answers in his world of unanswered questions, this once gentle soul will do whatever it takes to get them to talk.

Superhuman Strength (Ability to have a level of physical strength higher than that possible by any human) and Super Dense Bones (Ability to have a higher resistance to one or more forms of damage before being injured).

Mockingbird (Laura Moormann) - Once an employee of The Forgery, she worked in their medical research department specializing in technology for the Deaf and Blind. While looking in the basement for some test equipment she came across John Doe. In an attempt to connect with him she nicknames him JD, feeling that John Doe is to impersonal. After hearing what was done to him and seeing The Forgery's true face, she and JD flee taking her research and blueprints with her. Using her blueprint, she has artificially gifted herself with powers.

Super Hearing and Vision (Ability to see and perceive sound with greater clarity and scope than the average human being), Adoptive Vocal Mimicry (Ability to perfectly duplicate another's voice or audible sounds)

Villians

The FORGERY - An evil corporation that manipulates the world to get their way no matter what the cost.

The Iron Maiden - Reactive adaptation (Ability to develop a resistance or immunity to whatever they were injured by or exposed to. This effect is temporary) and Magnetism. Little is known of the voice behind the iron casket other than she is the leader of The Forgery.

The Suits - The most trusted members of The Forgery and its secrets.

The Iron Mask (Michail Petrov) - Growth Factor ( When trying to artificially reproduce the Maiden's reactive adaptation, he created a formula that had rather unexpected results. Rather than his body simply adapting to injury, some of his blood cells are mutated. These mutated blood cells allow healing at rapid rates, but not without a cost. The mutated cells randomly attack his body causing skin growths that must be surgically removed leaving scaring),

Freak Show (Dr. Howard G. Moreau) – A geneticist and highly loyal bodyguard of the Iron Maiden, he was mortally wounded in an attempt on her life. Without his consent, Freak Show was created when Dr. Michail Petrov (Iron Mask) by the order of Iron Maiden, used Dr. Moreau's own research on him to save his life, gifting him with his shapeshifting powers.

Freak Show is a shapeshifter who transforms by using DNA from blood samples of different animals from his human form to an animalistic form, but due to the alien DNA that gifted him with his ability, when he takes animal forms they appear mutated or “Freaklike". To gain new forms he resorts to biting animals and drinking their blood.
Examples Include:
- 2 Headed Wolf
- 3 Trunked Elephant
- 4 Armed Mantis
- 5 Eyed Snail
- 6 Eyed Sharp Tipped Tungue Toad

Other / Neutral

Planar (?) - Planar was originally a genious geneticist who discovered a frozen alien corpse in the artic circle. When performing an autopsy on the alien corpse as he drilled into the aliens crystal skull a strange shining vapor rises out and is inhaled by him rendering him unconcious. When coming to it appears that the vapor contained the stem cells of the alien race. These alien stem cell seemed to have given him abilities beyond anything humanly possible. He has seem the "end of Earth" in visions and has now given up his life of science and become known as the Guru of the Concrete Jungle's China Town Planar. This "End of the Earth" that he believes he has seen is not exactly what he thinks it is, but instead is actually his minds way to understand what it has seen in the vision which in actuallity was the end of the aliens homeworld. However convinced otherwise he now does whatever it take to allow "destiny" to play out.

Astral projection/trapping (Ability to astral project himself and others by touch. Within his astral plane he has superhuman strength speed, senses, reflexes, durability), Cross-dimensional awareness (Ability to detect actions and events in other dimensions), Possession (Ability to take limited control of another person’s body via astral projection), Power bestowal (the power to jump-start latent powers), and Power sensing (Ability to sense superhuman powers latent and active).

Tracker (Miakoda - power of the moon) - An expert in marksmanship and hand to hand combat. He is deadly with a bow and hunting knife. He believes people with powers are unnatural and mistakes made by The Creator and that their powers are the results of the trickery of evil spirits. He believes it is The Creators will that he is to track down and kill all superhumans. While he may not have a power of his own he uses ancient tribal medicines/supplements to enhance his senses and increase his overall physical condition to beyond that of any normal human being so that he can cary out the will of The Creator.

I'm getting to a point where I have a lot of ideas but don't care for my own stuff enough to go to work with it. However I like my concepts but would love to see some people using it in action looking poses with them using there abilities and such. What was that name

Sun Nov 4, 2007, 12:09 AM
So I was wondering if anyone out there besides me remembered an animated show or short series or movie I don't even remember that came on the WB I'm pretty sure in the late 90's that stared a character looking almost identical to Terry Mcguiness from Batman Beyond who was I think like half alien and had a sick alien technology motorcycle. Anyway I was wanting a friend to watch it but I can't seem to remember the name of it if anyone out there remembers the name or even knows remotely what I'm talking about please message me back and I'd be very grateful.
